Google Nexus 9 has an overall score of 74.5, which is way better than Motorola XOOM's 55.9 general score. The Google Nexus 9 construction is noticeably newer, thinner and lighter than Motorola XOOM. These devices have Android OS, but Google Nexus 9 has a newer 5.0 version and Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0 version.
Google Nexus 9 features a very superior performance than Motorola XOOM, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Google Nexus 9 also has more RAM memory and a 64 bits processor. Google Nexus 9 has a way better display than Motorola XOOM, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher 2048 x 1536 resolution and a lot better pixels number per inch in the display.
Motorola XOOM has a much better memory for applications and games than Google Nexus 9, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Motorola XOOM also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 32 GB. The Google Nexus 9 counts with a very superior battery duration than Motorola XOOM.
The Google Nexus 9 shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Motorola XOOM, because it has a much more mega pixels camera in the back and a way better (Full HD) video quality.
