The Microsoft Surface RT is a bit better than Motorola XOOM, having a overall score of 58.4 against 55.9. Microsoft Surface RT works with Windows RT OS, while Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0 OS. The Microsoft Surface RT body is newer, a lot thinner and a bit lighter than the Motorola XOOM. Microsoft Surface RT counts with a better processing power than Motorola XOOM, because it has an extra GPU, a greater amount of RAM and a higher number of cores (and also faster).

Microsoft Surface RT has a slightly better looking display than Motorola XOOM, because although it has a little lower screen density, it also counts with a little bit larger screen and a bit higher 768 x 1366 resolution. The Microsoft Surface RT features just a bit more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola XOOM, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

Microsoft Surface RT and Motorola XOOM count with incredibly similar batteries. Motorola XOOM takes much clearer videos and photos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Motorola XOOM also has a lot more MP back camera.

Microsoft Surface RT not only is the best tablets between the ones we are comparing here, but it's also a bargain compared to the other tablets, which makes this tablet an obvious call.
