The Samsung Ativ Tab is much better than the Motorola XOOM, with a 66.7 score against 55.9. The Samsung Ativ Tab is a newer tablet, and it's also noticeably lighter and thinner than the Motorola XOOM. The Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT operating system, and Motorola XOOM works with Android 4.0 operating system.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a quite superior performance than Motorola XOOM, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a larger amount of RAM memory and an additional graphics co-processor. Samsung Ativ Tab features a bit sharper display than Motorola XOOM, and although they both have a same size screen, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a little bit higher 768 x 1366 pixels resolution and a quite better display pixels density.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a superior memory to install games and applications than Motorola XOOM, because it has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a much better battery performance than Motorola XOOM. Motorola XOOM counts with a better camera than Samsung Ativ Tab. Both have the same video frame rates, the same (HD) video resolution and the same resolution back facing camera.
The Samsung Ativ Tab costs a lot more money than the Motorola XOOM, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
