The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has an overall score of 65, which is better than Motorola XOOM's 55.9 general score. Both tablets in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has 4.1 version while Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0 version. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) design is newer, lighter and extremely thinner than Motorola XOOM.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a bit more vivid display than Motorola XOOM. Both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, a higher amount of pixels per inch of display and a same size display. The Motorola XOOM counts with a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 32 GB, the Motorola XOOM also has more internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a little faster CPU than Motorola XOOM, and although they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also has an extra graphics processing unit. Motorola XOOM features a very superior camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same (HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Motorola XOOM also has a much higher 5 MP resolution camera.
