The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a global score of 67.8, which is way better than the Motorola XOOM's 55.9 global score. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a a lot newer tablet, and it is also notably lighter and thinner than the Motorola XOOM. Both devices we are comparing here come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has 4.4.2 version while Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0, providing some extra features and performance tweaks.

Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a little bit better performance than Motorola XOOM, because it has 2 more cpu cores, a larger amount of RAM and an additional GPU. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a little bit better screen than Motorola XOOM. Both of them have a screen of the same size, the same number of pixels per inch in the display and an equal resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels.
