Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is much better than the Motorola XOOM, having a 65.6 score against 55.9. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a much newer device, and it's also much thinner and lighter than the Motorola XOOM. Both tablets in this comparison include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0 version, so it provides the user a couple additional features and some performance improvements.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 features a bit faster processor than Motorola XOOM, because it has more RAM and more cores. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 features a more vivid display than Motorola XOOM, because although it has a much smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also counts with a greater pixels density.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 features a little bit better camera than Motorola XOOM, although it has a back-facing camera with much less mega-pixels resolution and a lower (HD) video resolution. Motorola XOOM features a lot bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage.

Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a superior battery duration than Motorola XOOM.

Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is also a lot cheaper, making it a no doubt choice.
