Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a score of 70.2, which is much better than the Motorola XOOM's 55.9 general score. Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version while Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0 version. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is a much newer portable tablet, and it's also lighter and a lot thinner than Motorola XOOM.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a better processor than Motorola XOOM, because it has a larger number of cores and more RAM memory. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a little bit better looking screen than Motorola XOOM, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) also has a much better 1200 x 1920 resolution and much more pixels per inch of display.
