Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a global score of 60.5, which is slightly better than Motorola XOOM's score of 55.9. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is a way newer tablet, and it is also notably thinner and a lot lighter than the Motorola XOOM. Both tablets we are comparing include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has 7.1 Nougat version while Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0, so it gives you a lot of extra features and a performance increase.

The Motorola XOOM has a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a bit higher resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, a just a little greater pixel number in each inch of screen and a quite larger display.
