Both tablets in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has newer 11 version while Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0, providing the user a couple additional features. Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite's body is incredibly newer, thinner and noticeably lighter than the Motorola XOOM.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has a much better performing processing unit than Motorola XOOM, because it has 6 more CPU cores and more RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has a little bit better looking screen than Motorola XOOM, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a little bit higher resolution of 800 x 1340 pixels.

Galaxy Tab A7 Lite counts with a superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola XOOM, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB.
