Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a score of 79, which is way better than the Motorola XOOM's 55.9 global score. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab Active 3 has the newer 10 version and Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0, counting with some nice extra features and optimized performance. Galaxy Tab Active 3's design is much newer, a lot thinner and a lot lighter than Motorola XOOM.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a brighter display than Motorola XOOM, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater count of pixels per inch of screen and a way higher 1200 x 1920 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a much greater memory to install games and applications than Motorola XOOM, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a SD memory slot that admits up to 1 TB.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a lot better hardware performance than Motorola XOOM, because it has 3 GB more RAM and a higher number of cores (and they are faster). The Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Motorola XOOM. Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a way better camera than Motorola XOOM, because it has a lot higher video resolution and a back facing camera with lot more megapixels.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 costs more money than the Motorola XOOM, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
