The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is better than Motorola XOOM, getting a overall score of 64.9 against 55.9. Both of these devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has the newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0 version, offering some extra features. Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0's body is much newer, lighter and incredibly thinner than Motorola XOOM.
The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 counts with just a little better processing power than Motorola XOOM, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores. The Motorola XOOM features a little sharper display than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a just a little lower pixels density, and they both have the same 800 x 1280px resolution, the Motorola XOOM also counts with a bigger display.

The Motorola XOOM features just a bit bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 32 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 counts with a much better battery life than Motorola XOOM.
