The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is way better than the Nokia Lumia 2520, having an 82.4 score against 68.6. Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a lot heavier than Nokia Lumia 2520, it's just a little bit thinner and way newer. Both of these tablets use Windows OS, but the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has 10 Pro version and Nokia Lumia 2520 has Windows RT 8.1.
Nokia Lumia 2520 features a little better performance than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processor and more cpu cores. Nokia Lumia 2520 counts with a more vivid display than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), although it has a much lower resolution of 1080 x 1920, a quite lower display pixel density and a little bit smaller display.
The Nokia Lumia 2520 takes greater videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), although it has a lower video resolution and a lesser MP camera. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Lumia 2520, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal storage.

So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Nokia Lumia 2520, letting go a couple specifications.
