Comparison review
The Nokia Lumia 2520 has a global score of 68.6, which is slightly better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3's global score of 65. Both tablets we compare here use Windows OS, but the Nokia Lumia 2520 has newer RT 8.1 version and Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8, giving you some extra features and a performance increase. Despite being the best in our current comparison, we must tell that it's also a a little bit heavier and a bit thicker tablet.
Lumia 2520 features a more vivid screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Lumia 2520 also has a way brighter display, a better 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a greater quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. Nokia Lumia 2520 counts with a little faster processor than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Nokia Lumia 2520 also has a higher number of cores and an additional graphics processing unit.
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with just a bit bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Nokia Lumia 2520, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Lumia 2520 counts with a greater camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Lumia 2520 also has a way more megapixels camera in the back.
The Lumia 2520 counts with a way better battery performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
Although Lumia 2520 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
