Comparison review

The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has an overall score of 67.9, which is a bit better than the Nokia N1's general score of 66. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has the older 4.4 version while Nokia N1 has Android 5.0. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a somewhat heavier and a little thicker tablet than Nokia N1.

Nokia N1 and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 feature quite similar screens, although the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a slightly better resolution of 1600 x 2560, a little bit greater display density and a little larger display. Nokia N1 has a superior CPU than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores, the Nokia N1 also has an extra graphics processor and a 64 bits CPU.

Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Nokia N1, because it has 64 GB internal storage. The Nokia N1 has a way better battery performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a little bit better camera than Nokia N1. Both have the same video frame rate, a back-facing camera with an 8 megapixels and the same video quality.

Although Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a better device, it costs more than the Nokia N1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Nokia N1. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Nokia N1, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
