The Nokia N1 has an overall score of 66, which is a bit better than the Asus MeMO Pad 8's 61.2 global score. Even though the Nokia N1 and the Asus MeMO Pad 8 were released with only a couple months difference, Nokia N1's body is just a bit thinner but also just a little heavier than the Asus MeMO Pad 8. These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the Nokia N1 has 5.0 version and Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4 version.
The Nokia N1 counts with a better processing power than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM and the same number of cores, the Nokia N1 also has a 64-bit processor and an extra graphics co-processor. The Nokia N1 features a more vivid screen than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher pixel density and a slightly better resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.
The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Nokia N1, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 64 GB. Nokia N1 has a really longer battery performance than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
Nokia N1 has a bit better camera than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a lot better resolution back facing camera.
Although Nokia N1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus MeMO Pad 8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Nokia N1, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Asus MeMO Pad 8, giving up a couple features and specifications.
