The Nokia N1 body is way thinner but somewhat heavier than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and they were only released with a few months difference. Both of these tablets include Android OS (operating system), but the Nokia N1 has a newer 5.0 version while Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has Android 4.4.2 version, so it provides you some additional features.

Nokia N1 has a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a bit bigger display, a higher pixel quantity in each inch in the screen and a way better resolution of 2048 x 1536.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Nokia N1, although it has a lot worse resolution back facing camera and a lot worse video quality. Although Nokia N1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Nokia N1, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, resigning a couple features and specs.
