Xperia Tablet Z is a little bit better than the Nokia N1, getting a global score of 68.5 against 66. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia Tablet Z has the previous 4.4.4 version and Nokia N1 has Android 5.0. The Xperia Tablet Z construction has the same thickness than the Nokia N1, but it is much heavier.

The Nokia N1 features a much better looking display than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a better number of pixels per display inch and a quite better 2048 x 1536 resolution. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Nokia N1, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB.

Nokia N1 counts with a quite better performance than Xperia Tablet Z, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM memory and a Quad-Core CPU, the Nokia N1 also has a faster 600 MHz graphics processing unit and a 64-bit CPU. The Xperia Tablet Z features just a little bit longer battery duration than Nokia N1, because it has a 13% greater battery size.

Although Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Nokia N1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Nokia N1. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Nokia N1, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
