The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is much better than Nokia N1, with a general score of 74.7 against 66. Both devices in this comparison review come with the same Android 5.0 OS, so both should give you all the same operating system features. The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is a somewhat heavier but thinner tablet than the Nokia N1.

Nokia N1 has a bit superior processing unit than Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, although it has a lower number of cores and a lower amount of RAM, they both have a 64 bits processing unit and a 600 MHz graphics co-processor. The Nokia N1 features a little sharper display than Xperia Z4 Tablet, because although it has a bit lower 2048 x 1536 resolution and a much smaller display, it also counts with a bit greater display pixel density.

The Xperia Z4 Tablet takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Nokia N1, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Xperia Z4 Tablet also has a back camera with more mega pixels. The Xperia Z4 Tablet counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Nokia N1, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Xperia Z4 Tablet also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 128 GB.

The Xperia Z4 Tablet counts with just a bit better battery performance than Nokia N1, because it has a 13% larger battery capacity.

Although Xperia Z4 Tablet is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Nokia N1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Nokia N1. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Nokia N1, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
