Comparison review
Huawei MediaPad M5 8 is much better than the OnePlus Pad 2, having a score of 75.5 against 58.4. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while OnePlus Pad 2 has Android 14 version. The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 design is noticeably lighter than OnePlus Pad 2, but it is thicker and was released 6 years before.
The OnePlus Pad 2 has just a bit better screen than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, because although it has a just a little lower screen pixel density, it also counts with a way larger screen and a better 2120 x 3000 resolution. The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features a very superior CPU than OnePlus Pad 2, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than OnePlus Pad 2, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 256 GB. OnePlus Pad 2 features a much longer battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, because it has 9510mAh of battery capacity against 5100mAh.
The OnePlus Pad 2 features a better camera than Huawei MediaPad M5 8. Both have a same size aperture and a back facing camera with a 13 mega-pixels.
