Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is much better than OnePlus Pad 2, having a 65.7 score against 58.4. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)'s body is much lighter than OnePlus Pad 2, but it's incredibly thicker and was released 7 years before. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while OnePlus Pad 2 has Android 14, so it provides lots of additional features and performance tweaks.

The OnePlus Pad 2 counts with a much sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a way larger display, a way better pixel amount per inch of screen and a lot higher 2120 x 3000 resolution. The OnePlus Pad 2 features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) features a really superior performance than OnePlus Pad 2, although it has an inferior number of cores and 6 GB less RAM memory. OnePlus Pad 2 features a much longer battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has 9510mAh of battery capacity. OnePlus Pad 2 captures better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light photos, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a way more megapixels camera.
