The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a general score of 74.5, which is way better than OnePlus Pad 2's global score of 58.4. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a way lighter device than OnePlus Pad 2, but both are equally thin. Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has the newer 4.4.2 version and OnePlus Pad 2 has Android 14 version, so it gives a couple additional features and a performance increase.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a much better processing power than OnePlus Pad 2, although it has 5 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a little sharper display than OnePlus Pad 2, because although it has a lot worse resolution of 2560 x 1600px and a really smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixels count per screen inch.
OnePlus Pad 2 counts with a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage capacity. The OnePlus Pad 2 counts with a much longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 9510mAh battery capacity.
The OnePlus Pad 2 captures a lot better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a way higher resolution back facing camera and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
