Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has an overall score of 65.7, which is much better than the OnePlus Pad's 56.7 global score. These devices come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has 9.0 Pie version while OnePlus Pad has Android 13 version, providing you some additional features. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is a much older and way thicker portable tablet than the OnePlus Pad, but Samsung managed to build it much lighter anyway.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a much better performance than OnePlus Pad, although it has a lower number of cores and lesser RAM. OnePlus Pad features an incredibly better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a much higher 2000 x 2800 resolution, a way larger screen and a lot more pixels per display inch.

The OnePlus Pad counts with a much better memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage capacity. The OnePlus Pad features a really longer battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a 90 percent more battery capacity.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) shoots clearer photos and videos than OnePlus Pad, because although it has a back camera with a way lower 8 MP resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better captures and videos in low light situations.
