Comparison review
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a bit better than OSCAL ELITE 1, having a 68.5 score against 67.1. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has the newer 4.2.2 version while OSCAL ELITE 1 has Android 14 version. OSCAL ELITE 1 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with 6 GB more RAM memory and a larger number of 2.2 gigahertz cores.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a much better looking display than OSCAL ELITE 1, because although it has a lot smaller display and way darker screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1600 x 2560px, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with a better screen pixels density.
The OSCAL ELITE 1 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels. OSCAL ELITE 1 features a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity and a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB.
OSCAL ELITE 1 counts with a very superior battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
