Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a score of 74.6, which is much better than the OSCAL ELITE 1's score of 67.1. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has 9.0 Pie version while OSCAL ELITE 1 has Android 14, giving you a couple nice extra features. The OSCAL ELITE 1 features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has a bit worse pixels count per inch in the screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a lot larger display.
OSCAL ELITE 1 features much more memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has a SD extension slot that allows up to 1 TB and 224 GB more internal storage. OSCAL ELITE 1 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), and although they both have the same number of cores, the OSCAL ELITE 1 also has 5 GB more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) counts with a way better camera than OSCAL ELITE 1, although it has a way worse 8 megapixels resolution back-facing camera. OSCAL ELITE 1 has a very superior battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has 8800mAh of battery capacity.
