Comparison review
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is slightly better than the OSCAL Pad 15, having a 68.5 score against 64.4. Both tablets in our current comparison use Android operating system, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a newer 4.2.2 version and OSCAL Pad 15 has Android 13, providing some extra features. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a a bit thicker but somewhat lighter device than the OSCAL Pad 15.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a much more vibrant display than OSCAL Pad 15, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px, a little more brightness and a much higher pixel quantity per screen inch. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a bit more powerful processing unit than OSCAL Pad 15, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a graphics co-processor.
The OSCAL Pad 15 takes slightly better photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a much more mega pixels camera. The OSCAL Pad 15 has a very superior storage for games and applications than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity and an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
OSCAL Pad 15 has a way better battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
