Comparison review
The OSCAL Pad 15 is slightly better than the Dell Venue 8 7840, having a 64.4 score against 61. Both tablets in this comparison review have Android operating system, but OSCAL Pad 15 has a newer 13 version while Dell Venue 8 7840 has Android 4.4. OSCAL Pad 15's construction is noticeably thicker and noticeably heavier than the Dell Venue 8 7840.
The Dell Venue 8 7840 has a more powerful CPU than OSCAL Pad 15, because although it has less cpu cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a 64-bits processor. The Dell Venue 8 7840 features a much more vibrant screen than OSCAL Pad 15, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution and a much higher pixels density.
The OSCAL Pad 15 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Dell Venue 8 7840, because it has a back-facing camera with a much better 13 MP resolution. The OSCAL Pad 15 counts with a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Dell Venue 8 7840, and although they both have a SD card slot that supports up to 512 GB, the OSCAL Pad 15 also has 256 GB internal memory.
The OSCAL Pad 15 has a way better battery performance than Dell Venue 8 7840.
