Comparison review
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is much better than the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, having a 67.9 score against 54.4. Both tablets we compare here have Android OS (Operating System), but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has 4.4 version and Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 has Android 4.0 version. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a superior processing power than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has an incredibly better display than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, because it has a much better number of pixels per display inch, a bigger display and a much better resolution of 1600 x 2560px. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's camera is just as good as Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1's camera, although the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a much worse 8 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a much bigger storage for games and applications than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal storage. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a battery lifetime that is very similar to the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 one.
Although Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
