Microsoft Surface 3 has a score of 66.3, which is way better than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1's general score of 54.4. The Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 counts with a slightly better display than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a just a bit worse pixel density, a lot lower resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels and a lot smaller screen.
The Microsoft Surface 3 has a little faster processor than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface 3 has a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
The Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 captures clearer videos and photos than Microsoft Surface 3, because it has a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution. Microsoft Surface 3 features a battery lifetime that's just as good as the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 one.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface 3, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, resigning some features and specs.
