The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has an overall score of 65.7, which is way better than the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1's 54.4 overall score. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 has Android 4.0 version, counting with a lot of extra features.

Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 features a better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), although it has a way worse 600 x 1024 resolution, a little bit worse pixel density and a quite smaller display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) features a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
