The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a global score of 60.5, which is much better than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1's general score of 54.4. Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a more recent 7.1 Nougat version and Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 has Android 4.0, giving you some nice extra features and a performance increase.

Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 features a way better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a lot smaller display and a little lower resolution of 600 x 1024px, it also counts with a higher amount of pixels per display inch. Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores (although faster), it also counts with a graphics processor.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features more memory capacity to install applications and games than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 features a better camera than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a way more mega pixels camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a much better battery life than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1.

Although Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab A 9.7, else you can save some dollars and get the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, resigning some features and specifications.
