Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active has a general score of 67, which is much better than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1's overall score of 54.4. Both tablets in this comparison use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab Active has a more recent 4.4 version while Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 has Android 4.0 version. The Galaxy Tab Active counts with a little better processing power than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, because it has a much better graphics processing unit working at 450 MHz, more RAM memory and a greater number of cores (but slower).
Galaxy Tab Active has a little sharper display than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, because it has a quite larger display, a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen and a higher resolution of 1280 x 800px. Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a back-facing camera with much more MP.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features just a bit more storage to store more apps and games than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 64 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a very superior battery life than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1.
Although Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab Active, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, letting go some specs and features.
