Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 is better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), having a 65 score against 58.6. Even though Samsung ATIV Tab 3 is a lot older and incredibly heavier than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), it's construction is still thinner. The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 comes with Windows 8 OS, and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) works with Android 9.0 Pie OS.
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has a little more vivid display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has a little worse pixel quantity in each inch in the display, it also counts with a bigger screen and a bit higher resolution of 768 x 1366px. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, although it has just 32 GB internal storage.
Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a little better processing power than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has a greater number of cores. Samsung ATIV Tab 3 and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) count with similar batteries duration. The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 captures slightly better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a much better 1920x1080 video definition and a camera with way more MP.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 costs a little more than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
