IPad Air (2020) has an overall score of 71.7, which is better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3's 65 overall score. The iPad Air (2020) design is notably newer, way lighter and noticeably thinner than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. The iPad Air (2020) counts with iPadOS 14.x OS, while Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8 OS.
The Apple iPad Air (2020) features a much better performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a 64 bits processing unit and a larger number of cores (and faster). IPad Air (2020) counts with a little sharper display than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a much better 1640 x 2360 resolution, a lot more pixels per inch in the screen, a little larger display and a little brighter display.
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 and Apple iPad Air (2020) both have quite similar memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos, and although the Apple iPad Air (2020) has no external SD slot, they both have equal internal storage capacity. Apple iPad Air (2020)'s battery duration is just as good as the battery life in Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
IPad Air (2020) has a very superior camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a way more MP camera and a lot better video quality.
Although Apple iPad Air (2020) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung ATIV Tab 3. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Apple iPad Air (2020), otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, letting go a couple specifications.
