The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is a bit better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, with a general score of 70.8 against 65. Google Nexus 7 (2013) works with Android 5.0 OS, and Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with Windows 8 OS. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) construction is just a little bit thicker but lighter than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and they were released only a couple of months apart.
Google Nexus 7 (2013) counts with a little bit better performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also has an additional graphics processor and 2 more CPU cores (although they are slower). So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Google Nexus 7 (2013), else you can save some money and buy the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, letting go a couple features and specs.
