Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 3 has a global score of 66.3, which is just a bit better than Samsung ATIV Tab 3's score of 65. The Microsoft Surface 3 construction is newer than Samsung ATIV Tab 3's, although it's a bit heavier and just a little thicker. The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with just a bit better display than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a much worse pixel count per inch in the screen, a way worse resolution of 768 x 1366 and a quite smaller display.
Microsoft Surface 3 has a little better processing power than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has 2 more processing cores and 2 GB more RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface 3 features a much better storage for applications and games than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 and Microsoft Surface 3 both feature incredibly similar batteries. Microsoft Surface 3 has a better camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has a lot better resolution back facing camera.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
