Microsoft Surface Go is just a bit better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, having a global score of 66.5 against 65. These tablets come with Windows OS, but Microsoft Surface Go has a newer 10 version while Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8, giving you some nice extra features and improved performance. Microsoft Surface Go is a incredibly newer and somewhat lighter tablet than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, although it is also a little bit thicker.
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 features a slightly better screen than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a lot lower resolution of 768 x 1366 pixels and a way worse display density, it also counts with a bit larger screen. The Microsoft Surface Go has a little bit better processing power than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface Go also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Microsoft Surface Go has much more storage to store more apps and games than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Microsoft Surface Go and Samsung ATIV Tab 3 both have similar batteries. Microsoft Surface Go counts with a better camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rate, the Microsoft Surface Go also has a back-facing camera with a way better 8 mega-pixels resolution.
Although Microsoft Surface Go is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
