Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a global score of 82.4, which is a lot better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3's overall score of 65. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017)'s design is incredibly newer than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3's, although it's a little thicker and incredibly heavier. Both of these devices come with Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has the older 10 Pro version while Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8.
Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with a slightly better screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a much higher 2736 x 1824px resolution, a bigger display and a way higher quantity of pixels per display inch. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal storage capacity.
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a little faster processing unit than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) also has more RAM. Samsung ATIV Tab 3 and Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) count with incredibly similar battery performance.
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) captures much better videos and photos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) also has a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
