Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is much better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, getting a 72.2 score against 65. Microsoft Surface Pro 3's construction is newer than Samsung ATIV Tab 3's, although it's incredibly heavier and thicker. Both of these devices include Windows OS (operating system), but the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a newer 8.1 Pro version while Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a bit better looking display than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a lot better 1440 x 2160 resolution, a bigger screen and a better pixels quantity per inch in the screen. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a bit better processing power than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have 2 processing cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also has a larger amount of RAM.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a superior camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Both of them have a same resolution back camera, the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a battery lifetime that's very similar to the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 one.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you want to save some money, you can get the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
