Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a bit better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, getting a global score of 66.9 against 65. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 construction is newer than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3's, but it is noticeably heavier and just a little bit thicker. Both of these tablets include Windows OS, but the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a newer 10 version and Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8, offering some extra features.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a quite superior hardware performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features a little more vivid screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a larger screen, a much better 2736 x 1824 resolution and way more pixels per inch in the display.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 captures much better pictures and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 also has a back camera with way more mega-pixels. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 and the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 have really similar batteries.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
