Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has a global score of 69.2, which is a little bit better than Samsung ATIV Tab 3's 65 global score. Although it's the best tablet device in this comparison review, the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 design is older, thicker and a lot heavier than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Both tablets in this comparison have the same Windows 8 OS (operating system), so both should offer the same OS features.
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 counts with a processing unit that is very similar to the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 one, they have 2 GB of RAM memory and a Dual-Core CPU. The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has a bit sharper screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 768 x 1366 resolution, the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 also counts with a just a little greater pixel density.
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 takes much better photos and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a back facing camera with a lot higher 8 megapixels resolution. The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 features a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
Although Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
