Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab has a score of 66.7, which is a bit better than Samsung ATIV Tab 3's general score of 65. Samsung Ativ Tab's body is just a little lighter than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, but it is a bit thicker and was released about 10 months before. These tablets include Windows OS (operating system), but Samsung Ativ Tab has a more recent RT version and Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8 version.
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has a little more vivid screen than Samsung Ativ Tab. Both have a same size screen, the same 768 x 1366px resolution and a higher pixel quantity in each inch of display. The Samsung Ativ Tab features much more storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Both have exactly the same internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a bit better processing unit than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have 2 cores and the same RAM amount, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has an additional graphics processor. Samsung Ativ Tab has a much longer battery performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a much better camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. They have the same (HD) video definition, the same video frame rate and the same resolution camera in the back.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
