Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has an overall score of 65, which is just a bit better than Samsung ATIV Tab 3's 65 global score. Even though Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a better tablet than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, we must tell that it's also a a little heavier and thicker tablet. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1 OS, while Samsung ATIV Tab 3 works with Windows 8 OS.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 features a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 also has a bit higher resolution of 768 x 1366 pixels and a just a little greater pixels density. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) and Samsung ATIV Tab 3 count with really similar CPUs, because although the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, it also counts with an extra GPU.
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 features a much better memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a way better battery lifetime than Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a camera that is just as good as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 one, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a lower 1920x1080 video resolution and a way less mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), else you can save some money and buy the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, giving up some specifications.
