The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a bit better than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, having a overall score of 67.8 against 65. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 body is newer, lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 works with Android 4.4.2 OS, and Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with Windows 8 OS.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a processing unit that's very similar to the processor in Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores (although slower) and an additional GPU. Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have a same size screen, the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 also has a little higher resolution of 768 x 1366 and a little bit higher screen density.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a better camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, although it has a camera with a way lower resolution and a lot worse (HD) video resolution. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
