The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a score of 70, which is slightly better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3's 65 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with Android 9.0 Pie OS, while Samsung ATIV Tab 3 comes with Windows 8 OS. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a way newer and way lighter device than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, although it's also somewhat thicker.
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 features a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a just a little lower quantity of pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a little higher 768 x 1366 resolution and a larger screen. The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with just a bit more storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with just a little better processing power than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a larger amount of RAM and more CPU cores. Galaxy Tab Active 2 shoots greater pictures and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has a camera in the back with a way better 8 mega pixels resolution.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a really longer battery duration than Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab Active 2, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, letting go a couple specifications.
