The Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a score of 77.5, which is better than Samsung ATIV Tab 3's score of 65. Galaxy Tab Active Pro comes with Android 9.0 Pie OS, and Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with Windows 8 OS. Although the Galaxy Tab Active Pro is incredibly newer than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, it is somewhat thicker and heavier.
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro, although it has a lot worse display density and a lot lower resolution of 768 x 1366px, they both have a display with the same size. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a little faster CPU than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a greater amount of RAM and a greater number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a much bigger memory for apps and games than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. They have exactly the same internal memory capacity. Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a really longer battery life than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a greater camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a back camera with a way higher 13 mega pixels resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
