The Galaxy Tab S5e is way better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, getting a general score of 78.6 against 65. Galaxy Tab S5e comes with Android 10 operating system, and Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8 operating system. Galaxy Tab S5e's construction is way newer, notably lighter and thinner than Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e features a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a higher number of cores (and they are faster) and a larger amount of RAM. The Galaxy Tab S5e features just a bit better screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a little larger display, a lot better resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a way greater quantity of pixels per screen inch.
The Galaxy Tab S5e features much more storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has 128 GB internal memory. Galaxy Tab S5e has a really longer battery life than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e has a greater camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a way more MP camera.
Although Galaxy Tab S5e is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab S5e, else you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, giving up some specs and features.
