Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a bit better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, getting a overall score of 66 against 65. Both of these devices include the same Windows 8 OS. Although it's the best in this comparison review, the Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a a lot heavier and thicker device than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has a little faster processor than Sony Vaio Tap 11, although it has less RAM memory, they both have 2 cores.
Sony Vaio Tap 11 features a bit sharper display than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a just a little more pixels per inch in the display, a better 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a little larger display. Sony Vaio Tap 11 takes clearer pictures and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a camera with much more megapixels.
Sony Vaio Tap 11 features a very superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory. The Sony Vaio Tap 11 features a very superior battery performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
Although Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Samsung ATIV Tab 3, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
