Samsung ATIV Tab 3 is better than the Xperia Tablet S, with a global score of 65 against 58.9. Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8 OS, and Xperia Tablet S works with Android 4.1.1 OS. The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 is a newer tablet, and it is also just a bit lighter and noticeably thinner than Xperia Tablet S.
The Sony Xperia Tablet S counts with a little bit better performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with more cpu cores (although slower) and an additional graphics processor. Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with a little sharper display than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a little bit lower screen pixel density, it also counts with a little bit higher 768 x 1366px resolution and a bit bigger display.
