Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is a bit better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, getting a overall score of 65.7 against 65. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2's construction is extremely newer, somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with Android OS, while Samsung ATIV Tab 3 comes with Windows 8 OS.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has a bit more powerful processor than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 also has a larger number of faster cores. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1536 x 2048px and a much higher screen density.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 takes much better pictures and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 also has a way more megapixels back camera. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has as much storage for games and applications as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has no external memory card slot, they both have the same 64 GB internal memory.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features a very superior battery duration than Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
Although Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, resigning a couple specs and features.
