Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is just a bit better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, with a 69.2 score against 67.9. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has Windows 8 OS, while Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4 OS. Even being the best we are comparing here, Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is a noticeably older, heavier and way thicker tablet device than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a bit better processing unit than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a larger number of faster cores. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a lot better screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1600 x 2560 and way more pixels per inch in the screen.
